School Location: I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Jana Smolenia w Bytomiu is situated in Bytom, about 15 kilometers of Katowice. Our students are from our local area. We offer five different study programs at our school and we have about 450 students.

Participant Profiles

Zuzanna Brol: she is 18 and she is from Bytom. She is fascinated with Björk, Münch, Polański's films, video-art and colorful thights. She walks on parties, meadows and theatre. She sells vinyl clocks in her school.

Martyna Spintzyk: she is 18 and she is also from Bytom. She is optimistic and always smiles. Her passion is photography, history, especially Middle Ages. She is in love with rock music and Swedish culture. In the future she would like to be a judge. She spends her free time in very active way: cycling, hiking, attending concerts and reading criminals.

Marta Szastak: is 18 and she is also from Bytom. She is interested in music, literature, anime and history of Japan art. She has been singing in her own rock band for about one year. She likes rock, metal and opera music. In the future she wants to be the opera singer or kindergarten teacher. She is emotional, helpful and empathic.

Paweł Jędrysiak: he is called Johnny. He is 18 and he is from Bytom. He is in science class because he wants to study architecture in the future. His other passion is art, especially theater. He participates in theater contests and he played in the independent film. He is a very talented student because he has not only logical thinking, but also creative.

Tomasz Tokarski: he is 18 and he is from Bytom. He likes science, especially physics, in which he is taking part in different competitions. He likes spending his time in active way. He is really keen on unicycling and solving Rubik's cubes. Moreover he likes hiking, cycling, sailing and playing tennis.

Paweł Cichoński: he is 18 and he is also from Bytom. He attends science class and participates chemistry, physics and mathematics competitions. He is fond of film and theater and his passion is film directing. He creates independent films. He is creative and friendly. He likes art, going to the parties, jogging.
