Tatsuro Ichihara

Mr. Ichihara joined Tateishi Electronics Co. (Later named as OMRON) in April 1967. During his time with OMRON, he had occupied executive roles in R&D until he became Director and Executive Vice President in 2002, then retired in 2009. He is currently a Director of Kyoto Environmental Nanotechnology Cluster of Advanced Scientific Technology & Management Research Institute of KYOTO. He is also one of the board members of Center of Entrepreneurship Development (CED). He has played a key role of CED fund raising, and been actively involved in many of the activities for youth entrepreneurship development.
Qualifications: Graduated from Kyoto University, Faculty of Engineering, March 1967
