Konrad Ba?dys: Hello, my name is Konrad Ba?dys, but my friends call me Gabry?. I am a very lively and sociable person. I train football in FC “Czarni” Sucha Góra. I still want to make progress and get better and better. Who knows, maybe in the future I will be the best player in my club.

Kamil Biedro?: My name is Kamil Biedro?. I am 17 years old. My hobby is old motorization. In the
future I want to have a collection of old cars and bikes. I own a big collection of vinyl records and I often listen to them. I am very cheerful and I have a good sense of humour. I am interested in all kinds of sports, but ski jumping is one of my favourites. I feel very excited about the visit to Germany and cannot wait to go there.

El?bieta Skrzek: Hi, my name is El?bieta Skrzek, but my friends call me Elu?. I am seventeen years old. I am creative, ambitious and very friendly. My hobby is horse riding and I also love singing and dancing. My dream is to be a famous singer or and actress but I am a down-to-earth person so I want to study law.
I cannot wait for the visit to Germany. I am very excited.

Bartek Gawe?: I am Bartek Gawe?. I am interested in economics and business, but I have made up my mind to be an engineer of mining. When I am working in a group and completing tasks I usually look for mistakes, or think about new creative answers and I am used to hard work. I am very content with our visit to Germany and in my opinion it is an amazing experience to take part in GEC.

Monika Jastrz?bska: Hi, my name is Monika Jastrz?bska.  It is my second time in GEC competition but first time in the final. I am interested in sport, especially in basketball. I am a very ambitious person, who always tries to achieve the goals set. Taking part in this competition is a big challenge for me.

Natalia Derda: Hey, my name is Natalia Derda. I am 18. I am keen on movies and biology. I want to study medicine or psychology. In my opinion I am a very outgoing person. I am so proud that I can take part in GEC competition for a second time. I hope me and my team will have good fun in Germany.

Pawe? Nowak: I am Pawe? Nowak. I am 17 years old and I live in Bytom. I am interested in Maths and Economics. In my free time I love dancing and swimming. In our team I usually make some calculations and statistics.

Mentors

Ma?gorzata Mamot: This is my first time as a coordinator the GEC but I have been asked to help students to communicate in English there. Although I have no business experience or knowledge I will do my best to learn as much as possible in order to support the team.

Ma?gorzata Kijak: I am a Geography and Enterprise teacher. I have been preparing my students to take part in GEC for 3 years. I am in charge of many projects and initiative programs for young people which make them more successful in our country and abroad.

About

Jan Smole? High School was established in 1932 and it is one of the best and the oldest comprehensive schools in the area. Approximately 450 students attend the school (aged 16 to 19) and a vast majority of them continue their education at universities both in Poland and abroad.  A significant number of students follow generations of relatives who attend the school in the past. The school itself is located in a historical building with well-developed grounds and sporting fields. The school boasts excellent newly refurbished classrooms with Science, History and Languages labs.
