Les Lloyd is Senior Business Development Manager and Assistant General Manager of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Australia-New Zealand.

Les Lloyd is an internationally recognised expert in the industrial water treatment, presenting regularly at water or industrial conferences on topics such as: Reuse for power industry, Desalination, Condensate Polishing, Actiflo® clarification …. He will be presenting a technical paper on Tripol® Ion Exchange Innovative Technology at the University of Cambridge in the UK in July 2008.

Nominated as one of the 10 top leaders in Industrial & Urban Water by business environmental magazine WME in April 2008, Les Lloyd was presented as “an iconic fixture in the Australian industrial water market, a recognised process guru in industrial process applications, across the power, mining and manufacturing sectors”.

Les Lloyd is a recognised chemist with over 38 years experience in the treatment of all types of water including wastewater, cooling water, recycled water and potable water. Les first worked for John Thompson – Kennicott in the UK and in 1981 immigrated to Australia. He’s been working for Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies since 1996 and has been involved in engineering, commissioning, design, project management and business development of most of Veolia’s industrial projects, focusing on the Power, Mining and Oil & Gas industries.
